Our personal briquette is created of all organic materials: coconut shell charcoal and small part of organic starch as binder. Absolutely it! Absolutely no borax, Absolutely no nitrate, Absolutely no anthracite. Ninguna!

Briquetting is a technique where coconut shell charcoal powder is pressurised under high tension using mechanical pushes method. Mixing with very small part of starch under this tension thus binding the material into a briquette.
During the data compresion of the material, temps rise adequately to make

the moisture in the coconut shell charcoal to escape. This will create dry briquette so it will be easy to burn.

There are two techniques in creating charcoal briquettes:

1. Briquetting and then Carbonization
In this technique, first the biomass should be ground into the powder form. The biomass is then pushed in briquetting devices. Biomass briquettes is then changed to charcoal kilns for further carbonization technique. Due to high temps during carbonization procedure, some briquettes could be damaged and harmed. Therefore, grading after carbonization is crucial step before shipping the finished goods to customers.

2. Carbonization and then Briquetting
Raw biomass first is transformed to charcoal form by carbonization procedure. The charcoal is then ground to form the powder. Since the charcoal doesn't have lignin as organic "glue" for briquetting, we need to mix it with small part of water and binder such as starch before push it in briquetting devices. Because of high temps during pressing, the starch will immediately form gelatine and bind the charcoal powder. Further drying process is essential to reduce moisture contents.
